We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Engineer (Civil) in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative and exciting projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial throughout the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality projects, leading a design team, conducting site visits and attracting new business.
ASSOCIATE ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and deliver civil engineering projects across a range of sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Produce accurate and detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software such as Microdrainage, Civils 3D.
Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Directors.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
At least 10 years' experience in a UK based consultancy.
Strong technical skills, including experience with Microdrainage, Civils 3D and Drainage design.
Chartered status with recognised institution.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
A proactive and organised approach to work, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Brilliant business development skills.
ON OFFER
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum.
