Senior Civil Engineer - North East Region (Newcastle Based)

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join their busy Technical Department. This role involves overseeing external Design and Engineering Consultants for various residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce layouts and technical reports for Land Appraisals and working drawings.
Commission site investigations, topographical surveys, and other assessments.
Brief engineering consultants on design scopes, including roads, sewers, drainage, retaining walls, and foundation designs.
Negotiate with statutory bodies and utility undertakers on engineering issues.
Provide engineering information to Commercial, Construction, and Sales departments.
Manage fee negotiations and consultant appointments.
Address technical queries.
Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment policies.Requirements:

HNC level or equivalent in civil engineering or a related field with residential project experience.
3+ years experience in a senior role
Proficient in building regulations, CDM, EA/Water Authority/Highway regulations, and adoption agreements.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
Effective communication skills with internal departments and external bodies.
Enthusiastic and hardworking, willing to undertake necessary training.Benefits:
