Come join this dynamic and busy multi-discipline engineering consultancy on the outskirts of the city. Their buildings structures team is looking to appoint an Associate level Structural Engineer to undertake structural design on projects including commercial, industrial, education and residential up to multi million pounds in value.

About you:

Degree in civil or structural engineering with at least 9 years' experience within a UK consultancy
Chartered, MIStructE or ICE, or working towards
Extensive structural design experience in all traditional materials such as steel, concrete and timber
Able to manage design teams on multiple projects, focusing on managing resourcing to achieve successful project delivery
Mentor for junior members of your team, with an understanding of how to best help them progress
Able to represent our client at internal and external meetings and undertaking site visits to monitor progress
Check calculations, specifications, drawings and reports produced by others
Strong communication and report writing skills
Proficient in TEDDs, Tekla and Revit
