Senior Geotechnical Engineer - London/Watford

Our client, a renowned civil infrastructure consultancy, is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in London or Watford. This is an exciting permanent position focused on foundation design and slope stability analysis. Currently, the role is full-time in the office but does offer hybrid working capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough foundation design and analysis to ensure structural stability
Performing detailed slope stability analysis and providing recommendations
Managing and overseeing on-site geotechnical investigations
Preparing comprehensive technical reports and presenting findings to clients
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes
Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance in all geotechnical work
Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and technical staff
Engaging with clients to maintain strong professional relationships

Job Requirements:

Experience in geotechnical engineering focusing on foundation design and slope stability
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it
Proficiency with geotechnical design software and analysis tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work from either London or Watford office
