Senior Structural Engineer - Leeds

Job title: Structural Senior Project Engineer

Work Location: Leeds

Structural Reports to: Associate Director / Structural Director

Salary - 42k/55k (Depending on experience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be required to have a very good overall knowledge of building structures.

You will need to have a very good understanding of British Standards and Euro Codes as well as UK Building regulations.

You will be required to carry out structural design taking account of all of the above.

You will be proficient in the use of the following software:-

Tekla Tedds
Tekla Structural Designer
AuotCAD
A basic knowledge of Revit
Microsoft Office

You will have a team of engineers and technicians that will be under your supervision. You will be expected to organise your team to deliver projects from inception to completion within time and budget constraints.

You will attend meetings with the client and other design team members, and you will be responsible for ensuring all the client needs are met. You will be a highly self-motivated individual who needs minimal supervision.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Educated to degree level as a minimum, ideally a Masters Degree.

You will be chartered or approaching chartered status.

You will have a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.

Have a strong project history within large developments and having worked examples of these.

Demonstrate experience in the following sectors:-

Industrial
Hotels
Residential
Offices
Public Sector
