Civil Project Engineer is required for a long term contract (12 months initial - with potential for future extensions) by Logic Engagements to work for our global client based in Elgin, Scotland.
The scope of the role will to be to work on a wide variety of civil and construction Capex projects. (For Example: new roads, warehouses etc). This will involve:
* Development of requirement specifications in collaboration with other teams such as Operations.
* Use specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to correct technical specification.
* Development of cost estimates and project schedules.
* Managing efficient spend for capex projects.
* Co-ordinating and managing external resources.
* Manage the project lifecycle including capital approval, maintaining accurate financial data including spend and forecast and project closure.
* Manage construction activities and overseeing commissioning activities.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental standards.
In order to be successful for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
* Current experience working as a Project Engineer or Project Manager on Civil / construction projects
* Good knowledge of Health & Safety Management (Nebosh preferred but not essential)
* Engineering background
