It's an exciting time for the Public Works Department in Hermosa Beach, a beachfront city about five miles south of LAX.
Hermosa Beach is investing in its future and growing its group of civil engineers to tackle our backlog of CIPs. This includes the addition of: one associate engineer, one engineering tech, a second Public Works Inspector, and two Senior Engineers. This will allow us to reorganize into two groups, one focused on Design & Land Development and the other on Construction.
These positions are open until filled. First consideration is August 15, 2024.
Competitive benefits include medical insurance cash out, paid vacation/holidays/admin leave, and tuition reimbursement, including fees and books.
