Civil Engineer Intern

Duties

• Use AutoCad Civil3D software to perform engineering tasks.

• Assist in initial site research and due diligence.

• Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs, costs estimates, engineering drawings, maps and other related tasks as required to support projects.

• Construction observation of land development, municipal water, sewer and stormwater projects.

• Assist in the preparation of permits for land development and municipal projects.

• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to think critically and problem solve.

• Knowledge of Civil Engineering fundamentals, surveying and drafting.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous Civil Engineering internship experience.

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
