Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a structural or lifting equipment background, looking for a dynamic and varied role within a fast growing company that offers on the job training and fast progression into Senior and Management roles?

This young and fast growing company are leaders in the design, manufacture and testing of lifting equipment across the UK. Established in 2017, they have grown their team to 14, and have just double their factory size, looking to double their staff within the next 2 years!

In this dynamic role, you will be taking orders and specifications from clients, producing designs on AutoCAD and SolidWorks and creating fabrication drawings for the on-site factory. You will be liaising closely with the manufacture and fabrication teams to ensure specifications are met and discrepancies can be amended.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar from a structural or lifting equipment background who is looking to join a fast-growing company that offers on the job training and fast progression into Senior and Management roles.

The Role:

Taking client orders and producing designs and fabrication drawings.
Liaise with the manufacture and fabrication teams in the factory
Undertake manual calculations when creating designs
