Principal Structural Engineer

Vertical Recruitment are working with an award winning, independent consultancy working within the built environment. They have 14 offices across the UK and Ireland and are an employee-owned trust. They are renowned for their expertise in civil and structural engineering, transport planning, geo-environmental and geo-technical engineering, infrastructure, and as principal designers.
The Role: We are looking for a Principal Engineer to join our clients technical team of 30 + people; you will working in one of their Structures Teams and will be based in the Liverpool Office. They work on a diverse range of projects including those in healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential and education with project values of up to £100m+. You will be a trusted mentor and role model, providing technical guidance and enhancing the development of the team
The Right Fit:
* Someone who has experience leading and managing projects of all sizes, including developing design delivery programmes with an understanding of and involvement in project finances.
* You will have leadership skills and be a positive role model for the people around you.
* You will be a chartered engineer or actively work under a recognised professional institution training pathway and close to chartered status.
