Senior/Principal Civil Design Engineer - Water

Attention all Principal Civil Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a fantastic opportunity for a versatile Civil Engineer to join a specialist Water Consultancy on a permanent basis.

Our client is providing the flexibility to work on an exciting Water Treatment project on a hybrid basis, attending either the Manchester or Birmingham offices on a hybrid basis.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for producing Civil design layouts which are cost effective and meet specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake technical design and analysis for both new build and existing steel, reinforced above and below ground concrete civil structures, using appropriate structural analysis and design packages, following local and national guidance.
Collaborate and form relationships with others at all levels, both inside and outside the company to support multi-disciplinary project delivery.
Lead and implement high levels of quality, and consider sustainability and safety, at all stages of the design and asset lifecycle.
Support the preparation of briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
Successfully manage time and budgets to project milestones and programmes.
Contribute to the growth and development of yourself and others.Key Requirements:

Extensive experience working in the Water industry
Ability to act on your own initiative
Prior experience working as a Civil Design Engineer
A Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership
