These Ground Investigation and Risk Assessment specialists based in Gateshead are seeking an experienced and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting geotechnical/geo-environmental projects in the North-East. The specialist consultancy are expanding due to an exciting increase in business, and therefore have the project exposure and resources to provide you with focussed career progression desired.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

Friendly and sociable team of specialists to work alongside.The successful Geotechnical Engineer will be working both on site and in office on a range of contaminated land, site investigation, coal mining risk assessments and remediation projects. You'll be carrying out desktop studies, report writing, risk assessments and working with the team to ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standard, within Health & Safety standards. An understanding of and experience working within geo-environmental/geotechnical engineering is essential.
The Geotechnical Engineer considered will:
Have a degree in environmental science, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology (or a similar/relevant subject).
Have experience as a geo-environmental engineer/consultant.
Have or be working towards chartership.
Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
Be commutable to Gateshead.
