Senior Civil Engineer - Derby

Senior Civil Engineer | Derby| Salary - £45000 - £58000 | Car Allowance
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Civil Engineering company. They are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in multiple and a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities:

Effectively control commercial, managerial, and technical aspects of the project or the part of the project you are responsible for
Consider feasibility design options for preliminary costings with clients and design teams
Arrange scheme design reviews and carry out the detailed design process
Prepare building specifications and manage production information for the construction stage
Attend site meetings during the construction phase to ensure construction meets
Provide structural surveys and reports and carry out Project Management roles as required
Subcontractor management and client engagement
Reading, interpreting, and providing clear communication of construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements etc.
Ensuring that the setting out is accurate, providing precise lines, levels and reference points on site.
Liaise with the clients site team to communicate all project requirements.
Technical responsibility relating to projects on site including (but not limited to) reading and interpretation of all construction drawings
Effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met.
Developing effective relationships and dealing with clients and subcontractors.
Working closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site.
Ideal Candidate:

Sound client liaison experience and being commercially aware
Experience with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185 and 104
Fully conversant in the use of software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, InfoDrainage or their equivalents
Hands on approach, with a desire to remain engaged in design, project management and delivery
Good organisation, communication, and presentation skills
You will have 3 + years' experience in the industry and have an aspiration to start a new and exciting chapter in your career
