HVAC and Water Systems Commissioning Engineer

My client is a high growth water compliance and ventilation compliance business. With a turnover of £50 million today they aspire to achieve £75 million in revenue within the next two years by acquisition and organic growth. They are truly in an exciting phase and will undoubtedly become the biggest service provider of turnkey projects to include commissioning of ventilation systems and commissioning of water systems.
They are now seeking to hire an additional HVAC & Water Systems Commissioning Engineer to join their team. The ideal person will be based in the Birmingham/Midlands area with the flexibility to travel to client sites across the Central and South region of England, to include Midlands, across to Manchester, Cambridgeshire, up to Leeds and down into the Northern Home counties as required to undertake HVAC commissioning and balancing and domestic water systems commissioning.
Clients are varied and this offers the incoming Commissioning Engineer the exciting variety of work in commissioning of water systems and ventilation systems across a diverse range of sectors to include NHS hospitals, critical ventilation verification, operating theatres as well as retail, manufacturing, and commercial and residential buildings. Ongoing training and development are on offer.
Job Responsibilities Include: -
* Commissioning of air and water systems to current CIBSE Codes
* Domestic water system balancing and TMV validations and set up
* Demonstration of systems to client and consultant
* Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates or checklist as appropriate.
* Be prepared to travel and stay away as necessary to complete your work and always look for opportunities to improve standards.
* Always promote a professional company image. You will be the company representative ensuring all commissioning and technical activities are completed on time and within budget to customer satisfaction.
Requirements for the position :
* 3-5 years proven background and experience in HVAC commissioning & balancing, ideally holding relevant qualifications is a must.
* CSA Grade 3 or 4 preferred
* Knowledge of the procedures for air and water balancing to BSRIA guidelines and CIBSE Codes A & W.
* Ensure customer and personal safety at all times.
* Always behave respectfully with customers, work colleagues and office staff.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel.
* CSCS SKILL Card.
