Were looking for **Project Engineers** to join our Anglian Water team based
in Lincoln
**Location** : Lincoln- mixture of working in the office, travelling to sites
offices & home working
**Contract** : Permanent, full time
Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance, part of Anglian Waters
network, was set up in 2015 to concentrate on water recycling solutions and
the clean water base. The maintenance and refurbishment of the key
infrastructure is managed by the partners consisting of Kier, Barhale and
Morrisons and we ensure everything is maintained and improvements made where
necessary to ensure the infrastructures longevity and effectiveness.
The IOS team is expanding and we have multiple vacancies available to support
the increased in works as we head into AMP8, an exciting time to join the
team!
**What will you be responsible for?**
As a Project Engineer, you will be receiving planned and reactive project
needs from Anglian Water. Youll look to drive the developments of solutions
with a focus on the whole life cost and business risk reduction of the
solution whilst ensuring they are compliant with all required standards and
regulations. This is a fast paced and dynamic role but one where you can add
value across the business and to your career aspirations.
Your day to day will include:
* Support the operational project delivery manager in the delivery of project needs
* Assess solutions, complete root cause analysis with consideration to whole life cost and business risk reduction using the Risk, Opportunity, and Value process
* Develop solutions in line with corporate governance processes, technical safety standards, and legal requirements
* Ensure all enabling; including the design, programme, cost and CDM requirements are completed ready for construction handover
* Complete and comply with all operational site Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality requirements to ensure safe working practices.
* Support the capture of assets and cost in the relevant corporate systems
**What are we looking for?**
This role of Project Engineer is great for you if you hold:
* Engineering degree or equivalent along with APM Project Management (PMQ) or PRINCE2
* Experience in capital delivery within the water sector with a key focus on directly employed staff delivering projects
* Management of the Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations
* Commercial awareness working with multiple stakeholders and excellent knowledge and experience in customer management as well as our external stakeholders
* Full driving licence
* Preferably NEBOSH or NEBOSH Construction
