We are looking for a skilled and experienced Structural Technician/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analysing structures, ensuring that they are safe and meet all relevant codes and standards. The candidate will be using all common building materials including Steel, Concrete, Masonry & Timber, and will play an important role in the delivery of these projects from concept through to completion.

As a Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include:
  • Producing design solutions from initial conception, through to design completion for structural engineering projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Design and analyse structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
  • A good working knowledge of TEKLA TEDDS, TSD.
  • Ensure that structures are safe and meet all relevant codes and standards.
  • Work with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that designs are feasible and meet project requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports for clients.
Candidate requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering, post-qualification experience ideally gained within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SAP2000.
  • Experience with residential superstructure design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Intermediate understanding of AutoCAD.
  • Good communication skills and written English.
  • Ability to work in a team to solve problems that matter.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
