Build Maintain Recruit are working with a growing consultancy in Exeter. They're seeking an experienced Civil / Drainage Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate is nearing professional qualification or has already obtained incorporated or equivalent status within a professional institution.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and demonstrate strong knowledge in civil engineering and development infrastructure.
* Understand construction contracts and terms of appointment.
* Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, local authorities, and highways officers.
* Be fully conversant with sectional agreements such as S38, S278, etc.
* Engage in business development activities and manage the preparation, issuance, and management of technical project information, including calculations and drawings, in accordance with standard requirements.
* Take limited responsibility for the technical, financial, and managerial aspects of projects as directed by your line manager.
* Maintain high standards of information presentation and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience
* Over 7 years of post-graduate experience.
* Nearing professional qualification or holding incorporated or equivalent status within a professional institution.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Full, clean driving license.
