Key Responsibilities:
Leading the engineering aspect of infrastructure projects
Designing site levels, highways, sewers, SuDS, and flood risk management systems
Conducting feasibility assessments and report writing
Preparing detailed drainage designs for various developments
Modelling drainage networks using Flow or MicroDrainage
Engaging in road and junction designs, including detailed construction plans
Managing site walkovers and assessments
Liaising with authorities such as Highways England, EA, local councils, and utility companies
Interpreting geo-technical reports for drainage design
Utilising AutoCAD applications, Civil3D and/or Causeway PDS
Conducting Flood Risk Assessments
Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations
Job Requirements:
HNC/HND or degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
Understanding and experience in infrastructure engineering and highway projects
Knowledge of industry best practice, guidance, and standards
Experience in leading tasks and design of schemes
Client-focused with the ability to manage client relationships
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or Causeway PDS
Understanding of S38, S278 agreements, and technical approvals
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently
Full driving licence
