With continuous growth in this area, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join their flourishing Water Engineering team.
You will be joining the team in Leicester, working across project delivery and hydraulic modelling teams, supporting wastewater infrastructure schemes. You will be a key leader, working alongside the current Civil Engineering team, running large projects and coordinating multiple professions across schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading projects, including coordination of disciplines within large schemes and cost control.
Engaging with clients' operational staff regarding reactive and proactive works.
Strategic catchment assessment.
Developing scheme designs from inception through to completion.
Representing the firm at client meetings.
Managing and developing team members to produce required outputs.
Supporting the development of processes and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures.The supply, management, and disposal of water are at the core of what we do.

This role will suit a Civil Engineer with experience in wastewater infrastructure across the UK. Key Requirements:
Ability to work to deadlines and manage time across multiple tasks.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) with relevant post-chartered experience or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with post-incorporation relevant experience in wastewater.
Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and expanding skills and knowledge.
Broad-based technical appreciation at a high level.
Understanding of forms of appointment and construction contracts.
Ability to contribute to the bid preparation process.
Proficiency with relevant computer software programmes.
Strong client communication skills.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills at the project level.
Good verbal communication skills - able to discuss work, coach, and supervise employees.
Ability to develop effective team management skills.
A team player who is self-motivated.
