Job Title: Principal Structural Engineer (12-month contract)
Location: Remote
Rate: £50-£60 per hour
Our client is an established engineering firm with over 1000 employees UK-wide.
Recently, they have detailed an ambitious 5-year plan that will see them expand their operations and develop their brand into becoming the go-to for all things clean energy, defence and nuclear.
To deliver this successfully, they are seeking the appointment of several experienced engineers on an initial 12-month contract.
You will join the area of the business that is responsible for delivering Defence projects and therefore you must be a UK national that is eligible for security clearance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and contribute to the successful execution of projects in the Defence sectors.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
Drive excellence in project delivery and contribute to the achievement of company objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Eligibility for security clearance is a prerequisite.
Must hold a UK passport.
Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Ideally Chartered.
Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
