Job Title: Intermediate Structural Engineer with UK Drainage Design Experience
Location: Thames Ditton (Hybrid: Home and Office-Based)
Salary: Competitive + Pension + Bonus Payments
Company Overview:
On behalf of my client, a growing and respected firm in the Structural Engineering sector, I am seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer with UK drainage design experience. This company specializes in high-end residential projects, including new build housing developments and refurbishment projects, as well as affordable housing schemes in collaboration with housing associations. They are committed to professional development and provide a supportive environment where talented engineers can excel.
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare structural and drainage designs and supporting calculations for both new build and renovation projects.
* Conduct site visits and attend design team meetings for ongoing projects.
* Perform structural inspections, report on defects, and recommend remedial actions.
* Prepare UK residential drainage designs in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
Requirements:
* A relevant degree (BSc or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the residential sector.
* Proven experience in producing structural designs and supporting calculations.
* A strong desire to work towards chartered member status with ICE or I.Struct.E.
* Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, manage projects, and deliver high levels of client satisfaction.
