Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Belfast
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
We are seeking a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to join a boutique engineering consultancy with a headcount of around 30 staff in Belfast. The successful candidate will manage a variety of smaller projects and contribute to larger, high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a selection of projects independently.
Contribute to large-scale projects, including a significant £350m educational project in Northern Ireland.
Work on diverse projects such as social housing, shopping centres, the Kings Hall multipurpose project (healthcare, residential, etc.), and two school projects (£2-8m).
Produce detailed structural calculations and documentation.
Regularly meet with clients to provide updates and gather requirements.
Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Work with minimal supervision to ensure project delivery meets high standards.Requirements:
Chartered Structural Engineer status.
Extensive experience in managing and delivering structural engineering projects.
Proficiency in producing calculations and technical documentation.
Strong client-facing skills and experience in mentoring junior staff.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
