Senior Civil Engineer
Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within a mixed civil/structural engineering team, contributing to the design and analysis of various building forms across industrial, commercial, and bespoke projects. Reporting to a Principal Engineer, the Senior Engineer will oversee design packages, manage a technician, and lead smaller projects, supporting our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
·Contribute to the design and analysis of diverse building forms using multiple materials.
·Collaborate effectively within a mixed civil/structural engineering team.
·Represent all areas of expertise at meetings and convey key actions to specific designers as required.
·Oversee design packages and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
·Manage and mentor a technician, fostering their professional growth and development.
·Lead smaller projects, demonstrating leadership and technical expertise.
·Support the Principal Engineer in delivering high-quality solutions and meeting client expectations.
Requirements of the role:
·Near-chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
·Proficiency in design across multiple materials and varied building forms.
·Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
·Proven track record of managing design packages and leading projects.
·Commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
