Job Description
The Job Mission
As a key player in our Civil Engineering team, you will bridge the gap between two critical nuclear projects at different stages of their civil design lifecycle. Your mission will be to perform a comprehensive gap analysis to align civil requirements with applicable codes and standards.
⚡️ Collaborate with stakeholders to define and update the Book of Technical Specifications (BTS).
⚡️ Identify and address missing information to ensure BTS accuracy and compliance with project schedules.
⚡️ Update project Codes and Standards based on gap analysis findings.
⚡️ Manage and finalize BTS revisions through stakeholder feedback and approvals.
⚡️ Lead progress meetings, workshops, and action plans to drive project success.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Experience in Nuclear Civil Work or complex structural projects.
Proficiency in structural design and engineering calculations.
Familiarity with Eurocodes, American codes, and/or ETC-C.
Knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations (e.g., CDM 2015).
Desired Skills:
✔️ Experience in design of concrete structures and steel-lined pools/tanks.
✔️ Understanding of seismic loading on structures.
✔️ Experience with material interfaces on large projects.
✔️ Working towards or motivated to achieve chartership with ICE or IStructE.
✔️ Strong communication skills for presenting complex technical topics.
