Job Description


The Job Mission

This role focuses on conducting a gap analysis between an advanced nuclear project and another in early design stages. Your mission is to align the civil requirements of both projects with applicable codes and standards.

Main responsibilities include:

⚡️Liaising with stakeholders to define and update the Book of Technical Specifications (BTS)
⚡️Filling gaps in BTS based on maturity and risks, aligned with project schedules
⚡️Updating Codes and Standards for the project following the gap analysis
⚡️Managing BTS updates, stakeholder feedback, and achieving document finalization
⚡️Leading progress meetings, organizing actions, and facilitating workshops

Qualifications


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Experience in nuclear civil work or complex structural projects
  • Proficient in the design of concrete structures and steel-lined containment
  • Familiar with Eurocodes, American codes, or ETC-C
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015
  • Knowledge of seismic loading effects on structures
  • Strong communication and autonomous working ability

✔️ Desired Skills:
  • Preparing towards or holding chartership with ICE or IStructE
  • Experience on large, complex projects
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations using first principles
  • Good understanding of reinforcement detailing for structural elements
  • Knowledge of material interfaces in design
