Civil Engineering Manager - Onshore Wind

Location: Scotland OR Wales

Work Pattern: Permanent, full-time, hybrid

We are looking for a UK based Civil Engineering Manager or Senior Civil Engineer with leadership experience to join our client and make an impact on their Onshore Wind portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Managing civil engineering design across a portfolio of Onshore Wind projects
• Procurement and management of civil, ground and access engineering consultants
• Design scopes: Transport routes, turbine hardstands, substation groundworks, track layouts etc
• Provide reports, recommendations and risk management advice on civil engineering matters
• Collaborate with Tier 1 Contractors to ensure civil works are delivered safely and to cost/quality requirements.
• Carry out site inspections and respond to technical queries
• Prepare the project for FID stages and procurement activities

Requirements:

• Experience with Onshore Wind (ideally with a developer)
• Experience of the full project lifecycle
• Ideally a chartered engineer with strong technical capability.
