Nexos are currently looking for a Senior Construction Engineer to join us on a permanent basis in our Dyce office.
As Senior Construction Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of a contract relating to offshore or onshore construction activities. You will ensure that all construction activities are planned in accordance with client requirements and that sufficient tooling, equipment and personnel are supplied to safely and efficiently execute the scope. As Senior Construction Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of a contract relating to offshore or onshore construction activities. You will ensure that all construction activities are planned in accordance with client requirements and that sufficient tooling, equipment and personnel are supplied to safely and efficiently execute the scope. Your regular duties will include:
- Providing input to asset plans for your nominated contract, ensuring that accurate and up-to-date information is included.
- Checking offshore daily reports for progress against scopes under your management.
- Reviewing and approving construction work packs and GOC CCHPs.
- Attending weekly planning meetings as required.
- Ensuring adequate information is available to construction team to undertake planned project construction tasks.
- Assuming project commercial and technical responsibility for all projects where you are PRP (Project Responsible Person).
- Acting as focal point for project construction work - coordinating tooling and equipment, arranging labour supply and monitoring progress and productivity.
- Verification of compliance for both personnel and equipment to individual project and industry standards.
To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Qualification to Degree Level in Relevant Discipline
- Trade Qualification, apprenticeship or NVQ/SVQ Level 3
- Previous vocational experience in an onshore support role or offshore supervisory role.
- Relevant Offshore Mandatory Requirements (Survival, Medical, MIST, EBS, etc.).
