Job Description
The Job Mission
This role is vital in supporting the Contract Engineering Lead (CEL) on all technical matters related to the contract lot. You will be instrumental in ensuring successful project delivery by proactively managing technical issues and liaising with stakeholders.
⚡️Support the Client in managing contractual relationships with suppliers during execution phases.
⚡️Lead and coordinate contract technical and project meetings.
⚡️Review supplier documents, ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.
⚡️Manage modifications, open points, and scope gaps in contracts.
⚡️Resolve technical issues, non-conformities, and site activity modifications.
⚡️Write and deliver surveillance plans and reports.
⚡️Coordinate with all disciplines involved in the contract, especially qualification teams.
⚡️Communicate progress, risks, and issues to RD and client management teams.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience in engineering design, contract, and field execution strategies.
Proven experience managing multi-discipline EPCM projects.
Knowledge of construction activities, including CDM Regulations.
Strong contract management and negotiation experience.
Leadership in managing teams, budgets, and suppliers.
Proficient in IT applications (MS Suite, CAD).
Competency in project management, cost control, and risk management.
Desired Skills:
✔️ Experience in the UK nuclear sector.
✔️ Proficiency in nuclear processing regulations.
✔️ Familiarity with NEC/FIDIC contract management.
✔️ Stakeholder management experience.
✔️ Fluency in French (beneficial).
