We are hiring Engineers from Graduate level to Chartered Engineers to join our dynamic and growing team.

Details of the Role(s) -

Roles at SDS vary depending on the engineer's level of experience, strengths and skills - but the overarching objective is the same - everyone works as a team with the shared goal of delivering the highest level of service for our clients, whist maintaining the company's values.

All SDS engineers at all levels -

• Design buildings, drawings calculations specifications etc
• We work with wider teams of consultants to deliver architecturally interesting projects
• We Collaborate with contractors to ensure buildable solutions
• All Engineers have meaningful involvement in commercial aspects of our business including fee proposal writing, workload management, time management and Business Development
• Together we grow and advance, expanding our skill-sets through continual professional development
• Mentor and help develop younger Engineers
• We remain curious and bring fresh and innovative solutions to the company
• We are seeking Engineers who share our passion for the industry, the communities we work with, and have a positive and ambitious outlook.

Minimum Skills Required -

• A 1st or 2:1 in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Studying, or have studied, an ICE or IStructE accredited course
• Team player
• Good communication
• Client facing
• Problem solving and lateral thinkers
• A strong work ethic
• Ambition to progress and work towards Chartership with the IstructE
