Key Responsibilities:
- Design Substantiation: Create and manage documentation supporting Nuclear Infrastructure Design.
- Design Leadership: Justify and lead design changes and concessions.
- Presentations: Communicate design justifications effectively to safety committees.
- ️ Maintenance Schedules: Develop and maintain schedules for Examination, Inspection, Maintenance, and Testing.
- Technical Advisory: Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.
- Independent Reviews: Conduct reviews to ensure compliance and integrity.
Qualifications
Profile:
Essential:
- HNC in Civil Engineering
- ️ Basic health and safety training
Desirable:
- Chartered Engineer status
- Training in nuclear safety case development
Experience:
- ️ Civil/Structural Engineering: Preferably within the UK nuclear industry.
- Structural Design: Proficient in designing and assessing industrial and maritime structures.
- Codes and Standards: Knowledgeable in relevant codes and standards.
- Software Skills: Proficient in relevant design software and IT tools.
