We are recruiting for a Global Operator based in South East England . Due to recent project awards CCUS Hydrogen LNG LPG they are looking to recruit Offshore Structural Engineer join a client based in Hampshire.

Hybrid: 12 days per month to work remotely + 1 day carry over to next month. As such typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

This will suit someone who is keen to work with the client

Projects: Carbon Capture / Onshore / Offshore / Hydrogen / Renewables

  • Key ResponsibilitiesExtensive experience in offshore structure analysis and design per ISO1900, API RP2A, AISC codes.
  • Proficient in creating and verifying FEM models for fixed offshore structures.
  • Expertise in foundation system design, including piles and mud mats.
  • Skilled in re-design, brownfield assessments, life extension, and reliability analyses.
  • Experienced in non-linear analyses, including blast, impact, and pushover.
  • Familiar with offshore materials, fabrication, installation, and floater design.
  • Strong leadership in managing structural engineering teams and guiding tender processes.
  • Mentorship and tutoring experience for junior engineers.
  • Effective communication with project management and stakeholders.
  • Availability for international travel.
  • Proficient in DNVGL SESAM, USFOS, ANSYS, SACS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD
  • Minimum RequirementsDegree in engineering
  • Experience in various project phases, including Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering, for both onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects.
