The company are a well-established multi-disciplinary design consultancy who work across a variety of building sectors throughout the UK and internationally, delivering world-class design solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
Candidates shall be chartered or near chartered with ICE/IStructE keen to progress their career.
The successful candidate will require to be well versed in computer analysis and design in all structural materials, innovative in approach, be able manage projects independently including attending meetings with contractors, architects and clients.
The successful candidate will be required to and co-ordinate the work of project engineers, graduates and technicians.
The scope of work covers a variety of new build and refurbishment projects across a wide range of building sectors. Experience in the following types of projects would be beneficial: commercial, industrial, residential, retail, logistics, education, hospitality, healthcare, defence and nuclear.
Requirements
BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
Chartered or near chartered with ICE/IStructE
Experience of working in all main materials including Steel, timber, Masonry and Concrete
Client facing
Software experience in TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer or similar
Experience of leading projects
Excellent communication
Ambitious with a drive to succeed and be part of a successful team
