Water Treatment Engineer
Up to £50,000 + Free lunch + 25 days holiday + overtime + progression

A leading, global FM provider are currently recruiting a Water Treatment Engineer to maintain the water services within the brand new headquarters of a large technology based business.

Main Duties

Conduct tests on the water to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Inspect and maintain equipment associated with the water systems in the building.
Carry out maintenance on water treatment equipment.
Advise on water safety and health regulations.
Understand, comply and implement statutory health and safety regulations with regard to the tasks being undertaken.
Understand and implement organisational safety requirements for themselves and others, including responsibility and supervision for safe access to water systems and the handling of chemicals.
Maintain a safe environment for other building occupants during water treatment operations including any relevant signage and notifications.
Able to contribute to the development of operational solutions and improvements e.g., safer working practices.
Assess the performance of a water system treatment programmes and provide recommendations for improvement
Maintain all required statutory documentation regards the installed water systems.
Provide guidance to PMs to ensure facilities are in full compliance with all local regulatory requirements
Participate in water facility audits and project reviews
Assist in preparation of audit findings and recommendations
Provide guidance and support in conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis for environmental excursions
