Position:
Due to ongoing growth and an expanding workload, our client is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team based in Belfast.

Role Description (Structural Engineer):
This full-time role is ideal for a Chartered or nearly Chartered Structural Engineer. Based in Belfast, the position offers the flexibility of occasional remote or home working as required. The successful candidate will be responsible for design calculations, structural analysis, and CAD-related tasks, utilizing a solid foundation in both structural and civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural design and analysis in line with British Standards and Eurocodes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
  • Competence in 2D and 3D design analysis using Masterseries and Tedds software
  • In-depth knowledge of structural materials, including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
  • Practical, hands-on approach to developing buildable structural designs
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and project management
  • Production of NBS Specifications, structural reports, and other relevant documentation
  • Leadership and management of graduate engineers and technicians on projects of varying scales, up to £60M

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • CEng MIStructE status is preferred
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
