Civil Engineer
Cardiff / Bath 1 day in the office per week
Salary £70k
Are you a skilled, enthusiastic civil engineer seeking an exciting unique new role where youll deliver cutting edge projects to international clients? are you bored and uninterested in your current role and eager for something more exciting and different?
My client is a cutting-edge technical company based in Cardiff and Bath that are leading the way in providing ground-breaking and innovative products and solutions in their respective field to clients worldwide. Their niche sector demands creativity, precision and an unwavering commitment to excellence, and their looking for a civil engineer who embodies these qualities.
As part of their projects team, youll be at the forefront of designing and overseeing installations that make a real difference, with your responsibilities including:
Designing specifications: creating detailed specifications for sensor towers and coastal station installations for their Indonesian program and upcoming project.
Site assessment: youll conduct thorough site assessments to determine optimal installation locations, whilst providing structural calculations to ensure structures meet requirements such as load and environmental conditions, whilst adhering to UK safety and structural standards.
Project coordination: you will oversee project work and liaise with project managers and other key stakeholders in preparing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans and be responsible for construction oversight, collaborating with local contractors to oversee construction activities and supervise installations.
Experience:
You will have at least 5 years of commercial experience, focusing on infrastructure projects and designing and managing the construction of communication or sensor structures, or experience within a telecoms background.
Project Management: strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and stakeholders, accompanied with excellent communication skills with the personality that fits well within a dynamic team, and technically proficient in CAD software or other design tools.
Travel: Pack your case and grab your passport as this role includes international travel every few months for a week at a time.
