About the Opportunity:
In this role, you will coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver complex engineering solutions on projects of varying sizes. You will collaborate with Operations Managers and the Framework Service team, playing a vital role in supporting the UK's nuclear fleet through various stages, from New Build and Generation to Life Extension and Defueling.
Your ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring client needs are met while driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and verify the consistency of input data.
- Produce design deliverables (technical specifications, calculation notes, etc.)
- Perform analysis tasks, as necessary.
- Develop and review nuclear safety case inputs.
- Review and justify design decisions to the Office of Nuclear Regulation (ONR)
- Conduct technical verifications of civil engineering documents.
- Create and maintain CDM Designers Risk Registers and associated CDM deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
- Working towards chartership with ICE or IStructE
- Experience in design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Familiarity with finite element modeling software and validation of modeling tools
- Design experience in nuclear or other highly regulated contexts.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes related to civil engineering.
- Understanding of American codes of practice
