Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + Benefits

Engineered Connections is delighted to represent a client in London who is seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a range of exciting residential and mixed-use projects, contributing to both new builds and redevelopment ventures. We are looking for a passionate and Chartered Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise, who is also enthusiastic about sustainability and net-zero emission design.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Manage detail-oriented clients, ensuring clear communication and timely project delivery.
  • Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to produce high-quality, efficient technical outputs.
  • Assess and prepare detailed design calculations and drawings for both existing structures and new developments.
  • Conduct thorough site investigations and inspections, producing structural defect and integrity reports.
  • Offer recommendations for remedial works on-site issues, catering to mortgage providers, finance lenders, surveyors, buyers, and sellers.
  • Demonstrate a passion for learning about sustainability and incorporating net-zero emissions into structural design.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered Structural Enginee r status (required).
  • A minimum of 5 years of UK experience in Structural Engineering.
  • Proven experience in visiting sites and analysing structural defects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural software such as Tekla Tedds and CAD.
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication and project management skills.
