I am actively seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Leicestershire. You will assist in managing one of their busiest civil and structural teams where you will have the opportunity to be a part of their growing division, taking part in large commercial and industrial projects, such as highway design, infrastructure and drainage designs.
It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
A relevant first-class degree. E.g., MEng in Structural Engineering
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Structural design
Associate memberships (ICE or IStructE) or chartered membership
Experienced designer with Tekla/TEDDS
Quantitative and qualitative experience in building structureDuties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:
Reporting and analysing structural faults and remediation (if required)
Experience of scheme and detailed designs
Conducting structural surveys of buildings and structures, by offering solutions for any potential issues
Responsible for delivering projects effectively by managing client expectationsSalary and benefits:
