A ground investigation, geotechnical and environmental consultancy located in Hertfordshire are seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to join the team. Established over 20 years ago and with approximately 25 members of staff, this niche team have the resources and projects available to offer varied work, continued professional development and career satisfaction.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be overseeing ground investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring, borehole logging, mentoring junior staff, writing and reviewing factual and interpretibe reports, project managing and handling contracts.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:
A competitive salary (£45,000 - £55,000).

Managerial responsibilities provided for career progression.The Geotechnical Engineer selected will:
Have good experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental practices.
A degree in geology, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or a similar, relevant subject (Master's preferable).
Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
Have experience leading a team.
Commutable to Hertfordshire.
