Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Advance TRS are excited to be working with one of the UKs most highly regarded SME's, who have a fantastic track record of working on some of the most exciting projects in the UK!
They have a key opening in their Birmingham office for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their established ground engineering department. Projects are heavily infrastructure focused and technically challenging, most exceeding £100million in construction value.
This would suit somebody with a strong technical background, who is keen to take on responsibility and help to manage/mentor others.
Required experience:
- Degree qualified in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, with ideally with a masters too
- Strong geotechnical design experience gained whilst working for another consultancy on major projects
- Chartered
- Experience of geotechnical design (earthworks, soil and rock slope, retaining structures, foundations, excavations, basements and ground improvement)
- Experience in using a number of different geotechnical software Plaxis (2D & 3D) , Wallap and Repute
Salary:
- £48,000 - £55,000 + a bonus (typically worth around £3,000 - £4,400)
