My clients are a friendly, privately owned practice with a portfolio of over 15,000 projects. They are primarily based in an idyllic location in the Weald of Kent. In 2012 they opened an office in Poole, Dorset.
My clients work on a wide range of projects, varying from small domestic extension and retaining walls, to historic building refurbishments, to large scale residential developments, to multi-million pound commercial and educational developments. They regularly undertake structural surveys of existing properties and have specialist knowledge in the survey of historic and listed buildings.
The Role:
You will work on all aspects of projects, from conceptual scheme design through to construction on site, as well as managing relationships with clients, contractors and design teams. Day to day, you will be modelling, designing using cutting edge software, report writing and liaising with contractors and clients. You will be supported with on-the-job training and mentoring from our team of industry-leading professionals, who will aid you in your professional development and working towards ICE/IStructE qualifications.
What you'll need :
* You will be a recent graduate with at least a 2:1 Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering or related subjects
* You will be a confident individual with excellent communication skills
* You will be team player who is comfortable working collaboratively
* You will be a creative problem solver who enjoys sharing ideas Benefits
