Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits
Independent and privately owned Water Hygiene / Legionella company who work across Public and Private sectors, providing the full range of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services. They are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their established team in the South East region. You will be responsible for carrying out a mixed range of L8 compliance duties, inducing but not limited to: legionella sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, and flushing of little used outlets in line with HSG 247 / ACoP L8 guidelines. For the successful candidate, our client can offer company pension scheme, company vehicle, paid door to door travel, excellent holiday allowance and competitive salary.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Aylesbury, Hemel Hempstead, Bletchley, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Bicester, Witney, Abington, High Wycombe, Slough, Windsor, Reading, Watford, St Albans, Hertford, Stevenage, Cheshunt, Harlow.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working on a mixed portfolio of sites for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills, familiar using onsite logbooks.
" Able to organise workload efficiently.
The Role:
" Legionella sampling and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Carrying out showerhead cleans and descales.
" Closed system sampling and analysis.
" Dosing closed systems with correct chemicals.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of carrying out L8 compliance duties.
