Equipment Field Engineer - Water Treatment
We are working with a leading independent water treatment company in the UK, dedicated to providing innovative solutions for water management across various industries. They are committed to environmental sustainability and operational efficiency, and they are currently looking to expand their engineering team.
Position: Equipment Field Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Field Engineer to join the client's dynamic engineering team. This role involves surveying, servicing, and installing water treatment equipment while providing exceptional customer service to industrial and commercial clients. You will play a crucial role in supporting the client's existing customers and internal teams with all matters related to engineering plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform servicing, maintenance, commissioning, and support duties for a range of engineering plant and equipment, including water softeners, filtration systems, reverse osmosis units, chemical dosing, and control systems.
* Address customer queries and ensure work meets agreed expectations and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate and detailed site log books as per company specifications.
* Communicate relevant findings to team members and clients to ensure effective resolution of issues.
* Assist with creating and managing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for plant and equipment tasks as required.
* Support the sales team with quotations for equipment-related jobs.
* Conduct surveys with consultants and clients to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance.
* Ensure all administrative tasks, including service reports, schedules, and timesheets, are completed accurately and submitted on time.
* Attend training sessions, seminars, and courses to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
* Adhere to Health and Safety procedures and maintain all provided equipment to the necessary standards.
* Represent the client professionally and maintain a high standard of personal presentation at all times.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working with water treatment plant and equipment.
* Proficiency in IT and the ability to complete detailed reports and documentation.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and best practices in industrial water treatment.
