*Long term contract role*
*Inside IR35*
*5 days on Site*
*Ideally have MEP experience*
*Ideally have experience of a Food & Beverage, Manufacturing or Production facilities*
Key Accountabilities
•
Supporting the management of energy efficiency projects including assigning, scheduling, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, reviewing job expectations and ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
•
Support the sourcing and securing of Mechanical and Electrical contractors and others to best utilise project resources
•
Building project schedules: contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews prepare and complete action plans coordinate internal activities and sub-contractor actions with relevant teams, schedule installations which includes maintain productivity, quality, and customer-service standards resolve problems complete audits identify trends determine system improvements implement change.
•
Represent the project to clients and contractors and liaise with relevant parties regarding project development.
•
Manage the project site in line with the regulatory obligations in the project location and ensure general contractor roles and responsibilities are complied with.
•
Updating supply chain partners of daily activities and site coordination obligations with Client's operations team
•
Champion continuous improvements for the project.
•
Report to management and key stakeholders on project performance including commercial reporting. Experience & Qualifications
•
Degree or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
•
Experience working on-site in an industrial manufacturing/MEP project environment.
•
Experience of managing mechanical and electrical contractors including supervisory works on site, issuing permits prioritising/decision making.
•
Relevant supply chain experience.
•
Understanding of thermal systems (heat exchangers, basic thermodynamics), mechanical systems/structures and electrical systems (electrical motors, VSD, logic).
•
High level of proficiency in MS Office, , etc.
•
Have a relevant certification for managing construction works in the project location (e.g. SMSTS for the UK)
•
Understanding of Project EHS requirements and contributing to construction phase planning (discharge of regulatory requirements in the project location, Inductions, Permitting, Site Management & Site inspections/observations).
•
Excellent organisational, communication, leadership skills.
