Structural Engineer Scarborough Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience As a leading structural engineering firm, my client brings over 30 years' of experience, innovation, and expertise to every project, ensuring designs stand strong and goals are met with precision.
Projects are interesting and really varied across the residential, healthcare, MOD and modular sectors.
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of various structures, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Perform detailed structural analysis and design using advanced software and engineering principles.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions.
Conduct site inspections, assessments, and provide technical guidance during construction.
Review and approve engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and client presentations.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is beneficial.
Proficiency in structural analysis software.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
