Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's objectives, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Field/Site Management: Oversee the scheduling and deployment of mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineers nationwide, ensuring the right resources are in place to meet project demands.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with project management teams to align operational activities with project timelines and deliverables.
Production & Scheduling Management: Ensure effective production planning and resource allocation to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
Training & Development: Maintain the engineers' skills matrix and ensure ongoing training and professional development.
Supply Chain & Logistics: Manage procurement and supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing operations team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Health, Safety, & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
5+ years of experience in operations management within engineering, construction, or manufacturing environments.
Experience managing M&E engineers and multi-site projects.
Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics, production planning, and process optimisation.
Leadership experience with a proven track record in team management and operational efficiency.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
NEBOSH or IOSH certification is preferred.
