Structural Engineer - Edinburgh
We are looking for talented and creative structural designers who thrive on challenges to join our growing client If you are professionally qualified or nearing qualification, and you have a passion for innovative engineering solutions, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Design: Independently manage the technical design of a variety of projects, from bespoke homes to commercial buildings and refurbishment works.
- Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to share ideas and resolve issues.
- Site Engagement: Participate in site inspections and design team meetings to ensure project objectives are met.
- Mentorship: Support and guide junior team members, fostering their development within the team.
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in Structural Engineering with diverse project experience.
- Proficient in design software (e.g., Tekla, SCIA Engineer) and capable of producing hand calculations.
- Near Chartered status or already Chartered.
- Experience in site attendance and project meetings.
- A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to project success.
