Job Title - Service/Water Engineer
My client is a tier 1 main contractor, and they have excellent opportunity for an experienced Resident Engineer to join the team, based on-site, at the London School of Economics where the primary focus of the role will be to carry out planned preventative mechanically / heating biased maintenance and reactive works, to building plant, equipment and systems as well as respond to site engineering emergencies.
About The Role:
The primary focus of this role will be to conduct planned preventative, multi-disciplined maintenance and reactive works to the buildings plant, equipment, and systems, as well as respond to site engineering emergencies on behalf of our clients. You will also be confident in your proven ability to effectively multi-task, work to tight deadlines and work in a team to problem solve on the job; whilst always promoting health & safety excellence. Key Accountabilities include:
* Record all reactive and PPM tasks accurately and in detail using report sheets and ensure signed by the client weekly.
* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks conducted to provide safe working practices.
* Supervise subcontractors effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an on a single site, however there will be requirements to conduct at some other site occasionally.
Education:
* Mechanical qualifications from a recognised institution
* Mechanical time served apprenticeship or equivalent
* Experience in Plumbing, heating & ventilation
* Multi Trader (desirable)
