Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Derby, DE1
Salary: £34,000 - £42,000 + Pension, Profit Share, Private Healthcare, Parking

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our Derby office. You'll work alongside a talented team of engineers on a broad range of challenging projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and heritage works. This role offers the opportunity to grow technically within a supportive environment, contributing to diverse and sustainable structural designs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver detailed structural designs using relevant UK and European codes.

* Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

* Attend design and client meetings, offering technical guidance.

* Produce structural appraisals and design in steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.

* Supervise junior engineers and technicians, ensuring quality control.

Requirements:

* BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1).

* At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.

* Chartered or near-chartered status (MICE/MIStructE).

* Proficiency in structural design software and codes.

* Excellent communication and client management skills.

* Full UK driving licence and own transport.
