Job Description: Structural/Civil Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural/Civil Engineer to join our team at our Kent (Maidstone) office on a full-time, permanent basis. At Adkins Consultants Ltd, we are a dynamic and forward-thinking company with a diverse and impressive portfolio of projects.
As a member of our design team, you will be responsible for preparing structural drawings, specifications, and designs, as well as producing reports and attending internal and external meetings.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with external partners on state-of-the-art projects, including new builds and refurbishments across London and the South-East. The role places a strong emphasis on building design projects and covers a wide range of building types.

Responsibilities and Skills:
- Deliver high-quality design and drawing work to meet client specifications across residential and commercial projects.
- Meet project timelines and deliverables in accordance with client requirements.
- Undertake a variety of projects, designs, and materials, providing technical expertise as needed.
- Conduct structural surveys and inspections of both new and existing properties.
- Perform structural analysis and design using a variety of software packages, including TEDDS.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of technical outputs, including drawings and reports.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, including structural surveys.
- Proficient in the use of drawing and CAD software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with relevant codes of practice, Eurocodes, and British Standards.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering.
